A hand painted, overglaze.
It is a design by a Hungarian sculptor, Bela Markup (1973-1945), from the 1930s.
Base diameter is 18 cm.
The whole statue is:
29 cm high
17 cm deep
24 cm wide
and weigh 1.3 kg
It is a magnificent, large porcelain statue, please look at the photos!
On the pedestal silky is a signature of markup Bela, a model number and from below the world-famous Zsolnay five church towers.
